inner-freedomTo trust requires that I confidently take the trusted into my “space” and allow her or him to roam unmonitored.  In the first few decades of my life, it was relatively easy to do so.  Over the years, I have come to accept that the uncertainties of life nullify any confidence in trusting others.  Now, I strive to accept people as they present themselves to me, expecting nothing more than they give!  This is one of my truisms, a manifestation of inner freedom!

  1. Sometimes even the way people present themselves to us are not truly who they are. Only with time and observation we come to see the true character manifest itself.
